Dora was born in Stoke-on-Trent in 1906 and died in Poole, Dorset, in 1990.

She was the daughter of Edward Allen Bloor (1861-1946) and Ellen Osborne (1866-1954).

Her brothers and sisters were:

3. Philip Bloor (1889-?). Born Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

5. Margaret Bloor (1892-?). Born Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
6. Ellen Bloor (1894-1894). Born Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
7. Lily Bloor (1897-1975). Born Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and died Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
8. Bertie Bloor (1900-1924). Born Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and died Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
9. Hector Bloor (1901-?). Born Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

Dora married first Richard Stanley Jones (1908-1979), in 1934.
She later married Les Bailey.

Dora and Richard had two daughters:

Dora Ann Jones (born 1935) who married James Alexander Heath-Caldwell (1930-2023) and later Frank Featherston Wright.

Edna Bloor who married ... Hugh Eaves.
