Voltelin Percy Heath was born on 4th January 1886 at Stoke on Trent.  In WW1 he joined the Royal Life Guards as a 2nd Lieutenant.  However he died of wounds on 5th September as a result of injuries received on 1st September.  He is buried in the Baron Communal Cemetery at Oise, France.  He was never married.  There is a memorial; plaque and window in the Great Oxenden village church.

His father's copper plate of 1908 was altered to show his name, though the Ulster hand was retained.
