CHRISTOPHER CROWE of EAST BILNEY, NORFOLK, ENGLAND

Son of Mr Crowe? and possibly a Miss Dalton?

Brother of: not known.

Christopher was possibly the father or grandfather of Robert Crow 1687 - 1725 of Swaffham, Norfolk (1687-1725) of Swaffham, Norfolk.

We know about Christopher Crowe from the following:

1. A few documents handed down in the Heath-Caldwell family.  One of these letters bears his red letter seal showing his family coat of arms.

2. A few letter seals handed down in the Heath-Caldwell family.

3. A bible dated 1660 with a coat of arms showing Crowe on the left (male) and probably Dalton on the right (female).

Some old documents passed down in the Heath-Caldwell family read as follows:

I note yours wherein you desire the examination of Sarah Bunn (Burn) who indeed I look now as to circumstances which I thought it not convenient in regard the child would now be a (Pound?) charge (which I would have done if other wise) only I entered it into my books that day so she --- upon Mr Riging's --- neither doth it concern a J--- of this year or (February?), no otherwise then it is a break of the good behaviour but it rather belongs to the Common Law and if I could have made (wrinkle in page) pleasing all perhaps I would, if not I would leave it as I found it

your humble servant

If you live in a house with old electrical wiring or if you are considering the possibility of buying a house, you may wish to consider getting a qualified electrician to visit the property and carry out an electrical installation condition report.  This is a survey and test of the electrical wiring to ensure that everything is save.  Price comparisons for electrical reports can be obtained from the website housemovepro.co.uk where you enter the postcode of the property and immediately obtain a list of estimated prices and full contact details of all the local electricians who can help you.
