A Gentleman, wearing dark red coat, matching waistcoat, frilled chemise and black stock, his hair powdered and worn, en queue tied with a black ribbon.  Signed on the obverse and dated, G S/ 1752, gilt-metal frame.  Oval, 28mm high.  Bonhams 23 May 2007, Lot 41.
