Artist and miniature portrait painter who was based in London.

Bonhams 24 June 2004, Lot 5.  www.bonhams.com  A Lady, wearing ermine-trimmed cerise robe over white dress with cerise buttons, black ribbon choker with jewelled pendant, drop pearl earring, strand of pearls in her hair and pearl trimmed cap dressed with flowers and white veil enamel, signed on obverse with initials and dated GS/ 1760, set in original fishskin case decorated with brass studs in a star motif Oval, 44mm. (1 11/16ins.) high.
