Portrait of Robert Harvey of Watton, Norfok 1753?-1820?

On the back there is the remains of a paper label which says 'Harvey Esq of Watton, Norfolk'.  There is also the remains of the framers label which says 'W Boswell carvers gilders and looking glass manufacturer, Magdalen Street, Norwich'.  This would be William Boswell 1839-1859 who was trading from Magdalen St, Norwich 1841-1869.  The painting could date from the same period as the label but it is more likely to be earlier as it is on a wood panel.  It could be that William Boswell did some later restoration to it and put his label on it.  The picture itself is probably a copy taken from a larger portrait.  It is not dated but from the style and the clothes the original probably dates 1808-1815.  The above copy dates from a similar time or a later date up until the mid 1800s.
