From the painting by Joseph Wright of Derby 1734-1797.  

Dimensions: 46cm x 61cm

The finished engraving was published by James Heath, 4 April 1797, and exhibited at the Royal Academy (item 607) in the same year.  A proof copy is dated 4 June 1795.  The original painting still exists and is in the Holburne Museum in Bath, England.
