Portrait of Miss Isabella Astley (1724-1741), aged eight

Painted in 1732 by John Theodore Heins (1697-1756) of Norwich, Norfolk.

Isabella was the eldest daughter of Sir Jacob Astley, 3rd Bt. (1692-1760) and Lucy L'Estrange (1699-1739).  Her brother Edward (1729-1802), later 4th Bt., married Rhoda Delaval (1725-1757), of Seaton Delaval.  This picture is now in the National Trust Collection at Seaton Delaval, Northumberland.
