Portrait of a gentleman, said to be Simon Kerrich (1697-1748).  Painted by John Theodore Heins Senior (1697-1756) portrait painter of Norwich.  Bust-length, in a brown coat and waistcoat and white jabot, in a painted oval.  Signed and dated  'Heins.Fec:1740' (lower right), oil on canvas, 76.3 x 64 cm.
