Anne Caldwell, later Mrs Marsh and Mrs Marsh Caldwell
Miniature portrait taken from a silhouette 1814
(1796-1874)

This oval miniature in a brass frame (which was in the family up until October 2000 when it was stolen) had an inscription on the back stating that it was of Anne Marsh.  It was probably painted by one of her relatives or friends and is taken from her silhouette which was taken in Scarborough in 1814 together with the silhouettes of her parents and her sisters and possibly her aunt Hannah.

On the back there is the number 7 in red marking it as one of the miniatures owned by the Miss Marsh Caldwells.

I would be very pleased were this picture to be found and returned to the family archive.  Reward £500.  Please contact me.
