Georgina Berlinda Palmer (nee Hartford) 1846-1940 of Armagh

Born: 16 February 1846 and died died at Alverstoke, England, 1939 or 1940.

Daughter of: Captain Augustus Henry Hartford (1802-1890) and Mary Catherine Hoops (18??-1873).  Henry Hartford has a rememberence plate St Pauls Church Portarlington Eire on the bar of the nave steps.

Sister of: not known.

Georgina married Joseph Mansergh Palmer (1850-1924) at St Paul's church, Portarlington, 19 Sept 1878.

Joseph and Georgina had issue:

  1. Vice Admiral Alexander Robinson Palmer (1879-1958) who married Charlotte Helen Burke in 1906.
  2. Miss Georgina Wilhelmina Palmer (27 Aug 1880 to 5 Feb 1968).
  3. Commander Edwin Mansergh Palmer RN OBE (1882-1963).
  4. Major Richard Lodge Palmer DSO MC, Royal Artillery, (1883-1961) who married Iris Irma Leveson-Gower (1899-1944).
  5. Violet Charlotte Mary Heath-Caldwell (nee Palmer, 1885-1971) who married Rev Capt Cuthbert Helsham Heath-Caldwell (1889-1979).
  6. Irving Montgomery Palmer RN OBE (1889-1967).

I know very little about Georgina except that her husband was a surgeon and they lived in Armagh.
